Mile End Park’s Mother Swan killed in Dog Attack

Last Wednesday morning a dog attacked the mother swan at the Art Pavilion Pond. Sadly despite being taken away to the Swan Sanctuary at Shepperton for treatment, the swan died a few days later early on Sunday morning from her wounds.

Sat 8th November 2025: Litter Picking (10-12PM)

Please note our NOVEMBER litter pick is on a Saturday to avoid Remembrance Sunday. Usually we organise a monthly litter pick in Mile End Park on the second Sunday of each month. Other activities such as bulb and wild-flower planting are seasonal.

Other 2025 litter-picking dates pencilled in:
