An independent group for those who care about Mile End Park .
This Sunday, from midday onwards we’ll be [hopefully] finishing off our bulb planting in Chris’ Wood (by the Art Pavilion). We have had bulb planting sessions for the last four weekends with snowdrops, bluebells, winter aconites, anemones and wild garlic. We still have a 1000 wild garlic to plant.
We are starting at midday as it is Remembrance Sunday.
This Sunday, from 10-12, is likely the last of our Autumn bulb planting sessions in Chris’ Wood (by the Art Pavilion). 2,000 wild garlic bulbs arrived today and we are keen to get them in the ground ASAP.

We have hundreds of wood anemones (being soaked overnight!) and a similar number of snowdrops to plant. This is our fifth year of planting bulbs in the park and we are making a difference.
