For those who are over 60, we appreciate how hard it can be to make new friends and meet people. As much as you’d like to socialise and do your bit for the community, it can be hard knowing where to begin. If you’re passionate about being outdoors, meeting new people and doing your bit for the local area, we welcome you to learn more about our wonderful community.

At Friends of Mile End Park, we run lots of events and have plenty of volunteering opportunities  

It’s our mission to form an independent and inclusive group to ensure that the Park is developed, cared for and used in ways that actively involve and benefit the local community.

We are a non-profit organisation comprised of park enthusiasts. Membership is free, and we promise not to share your email address or other contact information with anyone other than the FOMEP committee.
