Kerry John Andrews is a London-based fine artist, contemporary classical composer, and academic who serves as the Programme Leader for Postgraduate Art at the University of Hertfordshire. For over forty years, his multidisciplinary practice has seamlessly bridged visual art, experimental sound design, and creative cultural theory. His work explores the sensory relationship between language and space through intricate drawings, dynamic digital media installations, and independent musical ensemble direction.
The Exact Limits is a multidisciplinary solo exhibition highlighting a large-scale collection of recent abstract, color-centric drawings—such as Geological Figure (2026)—complemented by scheduled live programming.
The installation bridges visual space and audio through two major events: an Artist’s Talk on Monday, November 2 at 3:00 PM, and a free promenade concert on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 PM featuring contemporary music composed specifically in response to the artwork.
Mon 2 Nov at 3PM – Artist’s talk. An informal walk around the exhibition for an open discussion and talk about the artwork.
Fri 6 Nov, 7-8pm: Concert – free/open to the public

This is an informal ‘promenade’ concert of works for sax/clarinet and vibraphone.
Performed by Claude Werner, sax/clarinet and Derek Foster, vibraphone.
