Join fellow volunteers this October to help keep Mile End Park clean and welcoming as the seasons change.

Autumn can bring increased litter alongside falling leaves, making community action especially valuable. By taking part, you’ll help protect wildlife, improve the appearance of the park, and support a healthier local environment.

Volunteering is also a chance to slow down, enjoy the changing colours of the season, and connect with others who care about the community.

Wildlife remains active throughout October. Robins become increasingly visible, while blackbirds, sparrows, gulls, herons, coots and moorhens are regular sights. Watch squirrels busily preparing for winter.
