Our monthly litter pick is tomorrow (Saturday) instead of the usual Sunday. This is so it doesn’t clash with Remembrance Sunday. Apologies for the late reminder, but some competing priorities this week!
The forecast for Bow this Saturday is dry, light winds with sunny intervals.
The park is looking at its automnal best at the moment with some spellbinding colours. Lots of rich, colourful berries on the trees. Whether you look up at the berries and leaves still barely holding on, or down at your feet as they rustle through the piles of leaves on the ground, it is beau in Bow at the moment. So pop along this Saturday and join us. We’d litter picking for up to two hours (spent fireworks aplenty no doubt) and then head to The Coffee Room for a sweet treat and coffee/teas.
Location: Meet by the Art Pavilion (What3words: https://w3w.co/dizzy.nurse.loved )
Time: 10-12
What to wear: Please wear suitable outdoor clothes, full-length trousers (no shorts!) and sturdy shoes (no open-toed sandals).
We supply all litter picking equipment.
And don’t forget the gorgeous A Life in Pictures – Alison Chaplin (30th October-9th November) exhibition is on at The Art Pavilion still, but finishes this weekend (Sunday 5PM). So pop along whilst you still can.
