Join us for a community litter pick in our beautiful Mile End Park this Sunday and help keep our shared space clean and vibrant for everyone to enjoy.
Autumn has arrived, and we already have some wonderful displays of gold, red, and orange leaves. As you help out, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to soak in the season’s beauty. It’s also a fantastic time for nature spotting, with a variety of fascinating fungi emerging from the damp earth and floor of our wooded areas. Why not see how many different types you can find?
This is more than just a clean-up; it’s a chance to get some fresh air, meet friendly neighbours, and take pride in our local environment. Many hands make light work, and just a couple of hours of your time will make a massive difference.
All equipment, including litter pickers and bags, will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some sturdy shoes. Let’s work together to ensure Mile End Park remains a beautiful natural haven for both people and wildlife this autumn.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Time: 10-12 noon
Location: Meet by the Art Pavilion (behind the Grove Road Texaco garage)
