Bluebells in Chris' Wood, Mile End Park

This Sunday is our monthly litter pick in Mile End Park. Why not not pop along and join us? You don’t have to stay the whole two hours, but if you do then I can promise a reward of cake and light refreshments.

This month we are targeting the northern part of the park – meeting by the Art Pavilion at 10am to collect litter kit and have a short Health and Safety briefing before heading north up towards Bow Wharf via the canal side of the park, before heading back via the Grove Road side to finish up with a litter pick of the area around the Art Pavilion and Chris’ Wood. We’ll then pop for cakes and coffee at The Coffee Room.

We go out rain or shine, but if it helps sway you, the weather is looking pretty fine.

The park is looking pretty damn fine at the moment, with lots of cherry blossom, bluebells and honesty starting to flower, and a a couple of surprises that will bring a smile to everyone’s face. You’ll have to come to see what I mean!
