Tomorrow is our May litter pick in Mile End Park. Why not not pop along and join us? You don’t have to stay the whole two hours, but if you do then I can promise a reward of cake and light refreshments.

This month we are targeting the northern part of the park – meeting by the Art Pavilion at 10am to collect litter kit and have a short Health and Safety briefing before heading north up towards Bow Wharf via the Grove Road side of the park, before heading back via the canalside to finish up with a litter pick of the area around the Art Pavilion and Chris’ Wood. We’ll then pop for cakes and coffee at The Coffee Room.

We go our rain or shine, but if it helps sway you, the weather is looking pretty damn fine.

The swans by the Art Pavilion have eggs which should be hatching very soon. So we may get lucky.
